Getting started on the development of your web site is much easier than you might think. Follow the step by step process listed below.

Step 1 - Gather Information - Gather up all the materials you have in print that relate to your product or service. This includes brochures, flyers, product packaging, special reports, photographs and graphic images such as logos.

Step 2 - Review Materials - Review all existing materials and work to extract the key messages you wish to communicate in your web site.

Step 3 - Write Your Site - Write your advertising message using the five steps below Exciting Headline- Get the readers attention in no more than 5 to 7 words. List the Features- Make a list of the primary attributes of your product or service. Focus on those features that make your product or service unique or different. It is a good idea to list your features in the form of a bullet list. List the Benefits- Talk about why the reader would want to buy your product. Breifly explain the importance of your primary features. Credibility- Make certain that all claims you make are backed up with facts and figures. Provide the user with a couple of testimonials from satisfied customers and industry experts. Also, you might want to offer a satisfaction money back guarantee. Call to Action- End the web site with instructions on what to do next.

Step 4 - Determine the images to use - Select the images that best communicate the main points you want to project in your web site. It is always a good idea to display your company logo on the first page of your web site. Remember to use small, colorful graphics for the best impact. We recommend limiting the number of graphics to 2 per web page.

Step 5 - Select a template style and background/texture - Choose a template style for the layout of your page. You may also have a background color or texture display in your web site. You can choose a stylish background texture or select any color you wish. While background textures and colors can be nice, we highly recommend a nice plain white background. It usually works the best!!!

Step 6 - Write a site Description - Write a two sentence marketing description that explains what your site is all about.
